Communications + Campaigns Strategist

With diverse experience spanning IT, commerce, market research, social enterprise, and communications for change, Zara brings strategic, holistic thinking to increase success at both business and campaign levels, alongside strong organisational and communications skills, and technical savviness.

With broad experience across various fields and roles, in addition to a multicultural background, means Zara is versatile, culturally sensitive, values diversity and is able to connect and communicate with different people in varying contexts.

Zara currently works with organisations and projects that are about social change, particularly those with a strong a creative and community focus. She consults with Digital Storytellers, a digital agency creating stories for change, and worked on projects like the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair, Pink Sari Project and Medicare’s Health Literacy video. She co-founded Carnival of the Bold, a movement of arts for social change, and Coalition of Mischief, a marketing and communications agency for social change. 

Her capabilities span across: business analysis & modelling; customer/business development; strategy development (creative, digital, marketing, social Media; social enterprise; project management; web / platform development; social and market research (qualitative market research).
