Instructional Designer

Carl has developed accredited training resources for face to face, self paced and digital learning from Foundation to Diploma level. He has worked in the TAFE and not for profit sectors on numerous  projects for Commonwealth and State government departments, eWorks and education partners in Mumbai and Jaipur. 

Carl is passionate about inclusive learning strategies, and follows Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles in employing technology to better meet the learning needs of students of all abilities.

Carl has taught diverse cohorts of adults with a range of cognitive disabilities as well as professionals who work with these groups in a range of roles.  As well as being a disability educator, over the years  he has taught TESOL, foundation skills, job seeking, employment preparation and IT skills.

With over 12 years experience in adult education as a teacher and program coordinator and a background in journalism, creating engaging and plain English learning resources are his stock in trade.

  • Bachelor of Arts (Journalism)
